Skiing into Easter

Getting prepped for the next ski season. We actually went into Dick's for something else and wandered back by the ski section and noticed a deal for 75% off the sale price. We got two sets of skis, binding, boots and goggles for the price one set of skis normally cost. She had a blast trying on all the gear, and for the next couple mornings the boots immediately went on her feet after waking up. Navigating down the stairs was a little dangerous with them on though.
Woohoo, Grandma and Papa Barkdull came for a visit! They were originally planning on coming in May, but with Rick's unexpected deployment came a little earlier to spend some time with him before he heads out. Now that I think of it since they have come, Rick and I haven't been called grandma and grandpa.

They also got to see PJ get her Easter basket. She was deathly afraid of the bunny this year so when I mentioned the Easter Bunny left her a basket downstairs, she didn't want anything to do with it. So, I told her Jesus brought it to her and she was happy.

Grandma and Papa bought her a little wedding veil and so now she wears it with her "pink marry dress". She was very funny to watch and of course she had to have real flowers that she carried around with her, switching every couple hours to a new color.

We also wandered into one of the largest gun stores you will ever see, and there was a pink bb gun. It really is cute, and is now residing in Victor at Papa and Grandma Barkdulls with all the other grandkids bb guns. I think all the grandkids have their own now. I think for now PJ and Kennedy will share this one until they get a little older.
