Happy Birthday PJ! December 28

The big day approached for PJ, and she got to hang out with Ben and Hannah whom she loves. That and she did get a pink and purple cake which she asked for too. Luckily, she is easy to please when it comes to cake. She also got the Barbie bike she has been wanting for a long time
The excitement was too hard to contain as she waited for Happy Birthday to be sung and to blow out the candles, but...She did it! Yeah, yeah she did it! Hooray!(must be sung in Dora voice)Such a cute little 3 year old and cute little 3 year old turd at the same time.

Catching up on Christmas

We let PJ open up a gift from our friends on Christmas Eve. They are so nice to her and treat of like one of the family. It was very nice of them and of course PJ loved it.

Lots of Barbie Muskateer stuff was brought by Santa just like PJ requested. Although she was too scared to ask Santa herself. Rick kept telling her he asked Santa to bring her broccoli, and for a second I think she actually wondered if he would.
Everything she received has kept her busy since Christmas. Amazingly she is not bored with them, but not so amazing she still wants to add to the muskateer collection or princess doll collection.

I cry the day I take the tree down. It was sad, but more a pain in the neck. The needle dried out immediately after the tree thawed out. Which took 2 or 3 days after putting it up. It came down quickly after Christmas, and I had a trail of needles through my house 1/2 inch thick. Even after trying to sweep them off the carpet my vacuum clogged and the belt broke. So after a trip to Wal-Mart I was able to finish cleaning it up several hours after the whole process started. On the bright side, the tree did look beautiful.

That was pretty much our Christmas. We ate too much, Rick worked, and PJ and I lounged around doing nothing. We are looking forward to 4th of July which Rick scheduled off, but we'll see what happens.
