So this week my sister Valee and her family came to visit. We took them up through Garden of the Gods that seems to pop up out of nowhere, and we hit it at the perfect time with the sun beginning to set on it. Valee and I had to take our own picture here as the others were off exploring or playing around.
Rick, PJ and me with Balancing Rock in the top left corner. Rick will be leaving in a couple of weeks so it was nice that he was able make it out to G of the G with us.
If you are ever out here to visit us, you too can visit the Olympic Training Center and get your picture taken in the bobsled. This is Ben, Tsehaye and PJ getting ready to slide down the ice.

Outside the Olympic TC celebrating with the champions.
Tsehaye snapping pictures all over my house with my camera.
Thanks for visiting. It was fun to have family here before Rick's very quick departure.

A Whole Bunch of Random

Posing with her garden tools. Unfortunately our backyard is half sand. I hope to have it looking a little better by fall. On the bright side, PJ loves it!
PJ playing at the park with her friend Eden.
Pretending to be dead or sick. I don't remember, but we had to do some quick emergency work by tickling her belly.
Rick and me at his ALS graduation. So proud of him.
PJ after the Utah vs Air Force basketball game with the empty popcorn bucket as her hat. We go to a lot of AF games so I think the ushers were surprised to see us wearing red instead of AF blue.

National Western Stock Show

So, my brother and his family came to Denver for the stock show and it gave us plenty of reason to head that way too. There was a lot to see, and I think we can now pick out a champion heifer.
Here's Britney (my oldest niece), PJ, and Bella walking through the stockyards. Maddy wasn't feeling well, and I wish I could have got a picture with her too. They are all so cute and some of the best girls around. It was great to be able to spend time with them. They also know more about simmentals than I will ever know. PJ misses them a lot, and even though she was a little bratty she was very sad to leave them.
